Cyprus has adopted the English system of driving which is driving at the left side of the road. The allowed speed is 100 KM on the freeways, 80 KM on the highways and 50 KM in any city and resident areas. The freeways, which connect the main cities, are easy for driving and have 2 lanes at each side of driving. Also there are many road exits to any other direction you want to follow.
Gas Stations are open from 6:00 to 19:00 every day from Monday to Saturday. At all the other hours the stations are equipped with computerized pumps (something like ATMs for banks) which allow you to buy petrol at any time.
